Israel Justice, one of the five brothers that came to Pike County about the beginning of the Nineteenth Century, married Rhoda Blankenship. Little information is available about either of them. However, they made their home just above the mouth of Morgan's Creek and on the opposite side of the Levisa River. The house was located above the road and just across the branch from Albert Phillips' home which was built in later years. Israel and Rhoda had a family of one son and three daughters. Their children were all born in Pike County, Ky. (At that time, Pike County was a part of Floyd County.)
